MSN sooo sloww to log in

Why, after placing my user name and password is MSN Messenger so SLOW to
finish loading? I see my contact names appear, but the hour glass remains
there far beyond what I would deam necessary for my very short list of
contacts. Finally it finishes and all is well. It *never* used to be this
slow. What's going on?

Same here. I think it has something to do with the icons that load down the
left side of it. They seem to take forever...
