MSN software

Hi, I have been using Picture It 7.0 fo a long time, but have seen the vast
improvements in version 9. I picked up 9.0, but when I load it it says that
I do not have MSN internet Software installed. What exactly do I have to
download? I thouight this was a paid service, generally used for dial-up
connections. I do not want to purchase anything else.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This is unusual...when...exactly...do you
receive the dialog about MSN?

Might be worth a try to call MS Support.

What does "when I load it" mean?

Was Picture It! 7.0 a retail version or one
that came on your system?

And BTW...version 9 is somewhat outdated...
there are two new versions since then.

There's a downloadable trial version of
the current 2006 program if you would
like to try it.

Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006
is a downloadable 60 day trial version with
much of the functionality of MS Digital Image
Suite 2006.

Once your 60 day trial period has ended, the
program will de-feature to minimal functionality.

Unlike the retail version...the trial does not
have the ability to create VCDs and does
not support RAW files.

Yeah, version 7 was retail, 9 was a DL / retail. I tried a friends copie
just to see, and it does the same thing. It comes up when I try to open the
executable files (IE...open the 'pictre it' for the first time) I thought
that it was kinda strange.

Perhaps I should contact MS, or simply try a newr version.

There are no authorized retail downloads for
any version of Picture It! / Digital Image Suite.

Where did you download it from?

I think you need to contact MS.
