MSN problem

I'm trying to sign in to MSN (with the Messenger Plus! add-on), but the
message "Your contact list is not available" keeps popping up. I've googled
it to the best of my abilities but my message doesn't have the error code
with it like everyone else's so I'm wondering if I have a differnet problem.
Either way, I'm hoping someone could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Does it work if you uninstall the Messenger Plus! add-on?

What is the exact version number of your MSN Messenger? For example, mine is
7.5 (Build 7.5.0311)

Yes. mine is the exact same build as yours. I have tried uninstalling hte
add-on.

How about everyone else that has had this problem? What is being done about
it? How have they fixed it?

I had that problem back when I used MSN. The contacts magically
reappeared a few hours later.

if I try signing in so many times, after about 10 tries, it will finally
work, but if I try to edit my contact list (move people, add people, etc.) it
says it canot edit my contact list. Has anyone else had this problem? If so,
how do you fix it?

YOU do not fix it. Your contact list is kept on the Microsoft servers and
are presented to you when you log on to MSN Messenger. This way your contact
list is available to you no matter what computer you use to access your MSN
Messenger account.

When they have the problem fixed you will be able to get your list again -
hopefully. Some people have lost their list permanently in the not too
distant past.
