MSN Messenger

Anyone know how to shut that off so the icon doesn't show up in the tray? I
go to the startup list through msconfig and uncheck the box, but it still
comes back ??

That's for Windows Messenger Service which is, if you read through that
webpage at grc.com, completely different and separate from Windows Messenger
or MSN Messenger.
If all you need to do is remove the icon from the system tray, right click
and click Exit gets rid of it, at least it does here.

Open MSN messenger. Now uncheck "Start Messenger automatically.." from
Tools->Settings, General tab...

I did remove my windows mess svce by accident ! How do i get it back????????
Please Help! PS Can I use that alongside msn messenger?
