Possibility of some type of spyware / malware infestation on your PC
and the "other people" PCs. You need to check and clear out these
spywares / malwares with anti-spyware removal tools.

I am running adaware, hope that works, my AVG didnt spot it, thank you

You need to also run "others" since they usually appear to not find
everything.

I have also used:

Spybot: Search and Destroy
Spyware Terminator

SuperAntiSpyware

Delete Cookies and Temporary Internet Files from your computer.

Then, it would be advisable to download and run several other
anti-spyware tools.

I recommend Spybot Search & Destroy from
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html (without the Tea-timer
add-on) and the free version of Malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org.
Malwarebytes has a reputation for finding and removing malicious
software missed by other utilities.

Finally, I would download and run a free on-line virus scanner, such as
Kaspersky (from www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner). To prevent clashes
between two different scanners, you should turn off AVG (temporarily),
before you run the Kaspersky on-line scan. If Kaspersky finds a
problem, you could purchase the program to remove the infection - or
post details on this newsgroup for further instructions.

Install and run these 2 programs, in Safe Mode if necessary.

http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html

Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6 is a very good, FREE Anti-Spyware Program.
Download, install, update, and immunize your System with it.
Then SCAN with it.
Update it, and scan your System once a fortnight.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Malwarebytes is as the name says, a Malware Remover!
For the Free version scroll down their page to either download from
Download.com, or Major Geeks.com

Download, install, and update.

Important re: Safe Mode
If you happen to find a problem that you can’t uninstall / delete, reboot
the computer, and go into Safe Mode.
To get into Safe mode, tap F8 right at Power On / Startup, and use UP arrow
key to get to Safe Mode from list of options, then hit ENTER.
RESCAN your computer with your Anti-Virus, Malwarebytes and Spybot S & D
while in Safe Mode.

As much as I may agree with everyone else that you may have
malware/virus in your system, if the end result is that you think you
will be better off removing MSG as you originally asked, then just
google "remove msn messenger" and you'll find a ton of help like:
http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=288

I did it the brute force way. I just stopped the service with the icon
in the tool tray and deleted the C:\program files\messenger folder.
Seems to have worked for me. I may have run some program like
autoruns.exe to find out if it was launching at startup and remove or
disable the attempt to start. But I never got any errors.

Good luck.
