Some how I have both on my comupter and when I tried to
get rid of "Windows" mesg. it tells me that some programs
running may need this and must be closed before you can
exit. They both look the same -- how are they different.
How do I get rid of the Windows Messenger - it seems to
be the lesser of the two. Please advise.

.You don't have to get rid of window messenger because
it is part of the operating system, windows will
automatically close one or the other what ever one you
choose will be default messenger. msn messenger 6.0 is
part of msn explorer it will change when you sign it to
msn explorer with a different account. Hope i answered
your question?
