Msn messenger update

Jonathan, I have mess. version 6.1+ but it is in German. I get a
message to update but when I go there it is in German. If I update in
English will it work or should I remove messenger and install English
version.

Greetings Oliver,

The language localization of Messenger is actually based on one single DLL, you can mix and
match them without much problem (so you can install the English, German, French, etc.
version, it won't break anything).

As such, you can install whichever language you prefer (overtop of what you have) by
selecting it here:
http://messenger.msn.com/download/lang.aspx and then installing from that site.
