Hello,
I installed Norton Internet Security 2004 and since that time MNS Messenger
won´t work anymore.
I get the following message:
MSN Messenger is not available because the contactpersons are not known.
Can anybody help me with this problem please.

Go into NIS and in the firewall options, make sure that
MSN Messenger is set to "permit all" under the programs
tab.

Do you remember the selection you made when you first
installed NIS and then ran MSN? NIS should have popped up
and said that MSN Messenger is attempting to access the
internet, and given you a choice as to what to do.
