MSN Messenger, act as Server?

Hello,

since the newest MSN version 6.1 my firewall asks always when MSN logs
in it it may act as a server. Before, it just wanted to connect to the
internet, but not act as a server itself.

Why is that?

Greetings Jens,

I don't know specifically why you're seeing this now, but Messenger does "listen" for
incoming connections for a number of its features, so this is normal.
