Hi there i have a question in regards to the Msn Messenger 7.5.
I cannot seem to uninstall or re-install the MSN messenger 7.5, i have tried
to go using program add/remove icons, delete old registries of the messenger
but i still cant seem to either both uninstall or re-install the software.
It keeps telling me that there is a patch error and to check and see whether
that file exists or not. Now i don't know if i have deleted it by mistake or
not but how do i get around this error and re-install the software so that i
can use it again?

To un-install the software from add/remove programs icon the window's
installer box pop's up and tries to un-install it and when unsuccessful the
following error is mentioned "This patch package could not be opened. Verify
that patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the
application vendor to verify that this is a valid window's Installer patch
package"

please help?

Hi Sami, Im having exactly the same error. Messenger is crashing when I try
to get a video conference going. Voice works, but not video. So I figured
I'd repair Messenger or uninstall and reinstall. But Im getting the same
error as you when I try to uninstall. I noticed that there is MSN Messenger,
and an Update displayed right under it.
