MSN Messenger 5.0 and 6.0??

Just got a notice msn messenger 6.0 was ready to
download. Do I uninstall 5.0 from add/remove before
installing 6.0,or just click download 6.0 and it will
install over 5.0?
 
Rich you can just download 6.0 and it will update version
5.0. It's about a 6mg download but u should be able to
update from with in msn.

Just run setup and the setup wizard will take rest of
that. dont worry. just follow instructions of the wizard.

you have to uninstall 5.0 before installing 6.0....if 5.0
is not unstalled it will open by default and not 6.0

of course if you do that then you will probably lose all your favorite names
and settings...just install over the old and keep all such items.

After downloading messenger 6, I still have both versions on my system and
can still use both versions though not at the same time.
