MSN Meesenger 6.2 not launching after SP2 installed

Hi,

After I've installed the SP2, MSN/Windows Messenger is
not launching anymore.
The error is "MSN Messenger has encountered a problem and
needs to shotdown.Sorry for the incovenience".Checking
the details of the error, I have "InPageError P1:c000007
P2:000000089"

I tried to un-install it, to install an older version,
but I'm geeting the same result.

Can someone offer some possible solutions?The XP version
I am using is Home Edition.
