Hello,

My MSN folder in the programs directory is using 14 Gb of hard drive space!
Why so much space? I am using windows XP home edition, MSN 8, and Internet
Explorer 6.

There are many hidden files named "Msncorefiles.promo" which use 79 Mb each
in this folder. In the MSN folder there is one visible icon: an "MSN 8
shortcut" which links to msn\msncorefiles\6.exe.

What are these msncorefiles.promo? And why are they eating up my hard drive
space?

Any help appreciated. Thank you

He or She should contact support. I believe those are the downloaded files
used in auto-updates. We are currently at MSN 9. S/He should should
determine
why his/her client isn't being updated.
