almost every time I open msn8 I get an error message that
says MSN has encountered an internal error and will
restart. undr details it is usually an invalid page fault
in various modules.

Operating windows 98 is fine, DSL service is fine but
nobody can seem to find cause of these error messages.

Ok it's sunday morning and I just turned on the computer.
I opened msn8 and immediately had a pop up that read
verbatim:
MSN error reporting

sorry just got disconnected again.
Opened MSN8 this morning and immediately got error
message: We're sorry but MSN has experienced an internal
error and will have to restart. Please tell MSN about
this problem to see what data this error contains. When I
click on the link it says:
MOD Name kernel32.DLL MOD VER: 4.10.0.2222 Offset
0000a141

errors in module 1 QMGRPXY.DLL

I then restarted & got same message this time it said
module 1 MSDXBX.DLL

Gateway tech support says operating system is fine.
verizon support says internet connection is fine. MSN
doesn't say anything. Can't get to talk to a real person.

I'm not sure what details you need. I run windows 98
verizon dsl with msn8. everytime I open msn8 I get error
message that says we're sorry msn has encountered an
internal error and will have to restart. The error
signature always says msn6.exe appver 8.507.1202
module 1 kernel32.DLL sometimes it's midule 1 QMGRPXY/DLL
sometimes it's MSDBX.DLL or CUSTSTLC.DLL how can I fix
this?

At first, I thought that qmgrpxy.dll was not a legitimate fle, but it turns
out that it is. After searching the web, and trying to exercise my very
pathetic spanish skills, I suspect that htings may be helped if you disable
loadqm.exe (via msconfig).

Let me know how you go.
