Msn Error Messages

Hi... new to the forums

wondering if anyone could help...
Msn latley keeps on not signing me in and trying to re-connect but doing nothing...
and then an error message comes up saying the service is temporarily unavailable with error message 80004005...

or it tells me my password is wrong... when i know it isnt. i can get on to net messenger and things but i want to fix my msn on my crappy computer...

I know this isnt an issue with everyones msn just mine...


any help would be appreciated thanks... :confused:

MSN is notoriously flakey and i have problems like that a lot. What sometimes helps is closing it completely (right clicking it in the task bar and clicking close).

Does the rest of your internet work alright?

Have you tried re-installing it?

thanks for the tip.... ive tried re-booting and exiting quite a bit..
my internets running fine
but dont want to risk deleting in off my comp as im having problems with it and it probably wont let me re-install it... all i keep getting is the constant error message no matter what i do...

Hi,

what version are you using?

Windows Live seems to be a bit better than the old versions.

Are you addicted to msn?
do you find yourself depending on it too much? Talk to frank :) :lol: :thumb:
 
It is addictive actually! haha.

Well, if it's not working i wouldn't worry about re-installing it because you're not going to be in a worse position. Try removing it and downloading the new version and it should be fine.

Hi i am am bit addicted haha.... for some strange reason its only my email address that wont allow me to sign on to messenger... other people can... but i don't know what the problem is its version 7... i cant upgrade because its only windows 2000 :( unfortunately

get yourself windows xp
theres a good chance windows live will work
:)


or

make a new email address and use that one instead
