Is there any way to remove MSN 8 from the computer. I ordered msn-dsl and
got a copy of MSN 8. I put it on the computer but since then the internet
just is bonkers and after on a while just quits. I have tried re booting the
dsl gateway (a NetDSL 800) by disconnecting the power and waiting 20 seconds
and reconnecting the power and that does not brig back the internet.

The only way I can get the internet back is to re boot the computer. All
this stuff started happening after the installation of MSN 8.

Have you looked in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel?

I have and it is not listed. I have used the search function and athere is
not an MSN 8 folder listed any where on the computer. I guess the only thing
to do is format the drive and reinstall evrything ???

When you went to Add/Remove, did you look under Windows Components? MSN
Explorer should be listed there.

I am a little spooked about using that check box since it informs me I my
not be able to access the internet after removing (unchecking the box) I
will have to check this a little more to see what the results might be.
Thanks for your help

Dear Larry,

I think you may remove it as suggested from Michael. Afterward you may run
then new connection wizard and that's it!
