MSMDSRV.EXE using 99% of CPU post Win2k SP4

I just installed Windows 2000 SP4 on a SQL server machine. Upon
rebooting the machine, MSMDSRV.EXE was consuming 99% of the CPU, and
the machine was extremely slow responding to anything. Stopping the
IIS Admin service would bring the CPU usage back down. Everything I
have read regarding MSMDSRV.EXE seems to be related to SQL server, and
the Analysis Server. Uninstalling IIS will rectify the problem, but I
need IIS also. Any ideas what is going on?
Thanks a lot...

And no need to multi-post it all over the place either. If you want to post
to more than one group - if it's absolutely necessary - use one message
addressed to the groups, not individual identical messages.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your posting.

Based on the description, the issue is related to the Msmdsrv.exe SQL
Server 2000 Analysis Services. To resolve this problem, obtain the latest
service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000.

SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3a:
