I am running Win Pro XP pro Sp 2 with I.E version number 6.0.2900 xpsp_2.

On accessing http://www.egg.com and then following the link to "your
accounts" I can initially access the page, log on and enter the site. On
subsequent occasions when I click on the link "your accounts" the browser
shuts down! In fact it just instantly disappears from the screen. The work
around is to delete all temporary internet files and start again for one
time only I can access my account.

Egg support have advised me to delete cookies this doesn't work. They have
directed me to allow cookies in a place where no such option exists. They
have then asked me to set Internet Zone Security Setting to medium all to no
avail. They then advised me to contact my ISP, they being NTL and IE 6 is
too new for them to support. Their advice is to install IE 5.0.

Please help. Any advice would be gratefully recieved,

Thanks Chris

I have the same problem, tried the same solutions (only
difference is I'm running Windows 2000 Pro). IE simply
closes down when I try to access some sites. One of those
sites is my online Distance Education link! MS better fix
this FAST or I'm going to Mozilla.

The login page is https. Open Internet Options, Security tab, Trusted
sites and enter https://www.egg.com into the secure sites list. See if
this helps.
