I seem to be having this annoying problem. Everytime I
launch a program I get this message: "This MSI must be
launched through setup." I'm not sure what happened and
why all of a sudden this is happening. Any help or
suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am running on
Win XP Pro sp1

You mean your "*" key got stuck when typing the subject. Yeah - that *is*
annoying.

The only reference I found was the following:

Check your Msi.dll version..

Although there was also a reference to installing Symantec AV 2004 and
getting this message:

sometime very difficult to find the original post with so
