Hi,
I've recently built a system based upon an MSI 865PE Neo2 mobo and a P4
2.4Ghz with hyperthreading. The system is running XP pro and although I have
hyperthreading enabled in the BIOS, in device manager in XP it shows the
system as a "standard PC" running just one processor.
From my understanding, with hyperthreading enabled, my system should show as
having two processors installed, instead of one, which would indicate that
hyperthreading was being used.
Can anyone shed any light on my current dilemma please?
Many thanks
Jon.
