msi 6701 motherboard

Hi,

I have one of these motherboards MSI 6701 it was taken from a Medion computer. I need to know if the CPU below will work on this board. I cant find any CPU support list for this board on the internet. I know that its the same socket PGA478B. Please can someone let me know if it will work or not?


Intel Celeron D 330, 2.66 GHz Processor

Sorry for the limited info but the original cpu has died and I had the other one as a spare and wanted to know if it will work.

The msi board was probably a custom made jobbie for Medion which is probably why you can't find details of it.

If it were me I'd just try it and see if it boots, but I like to live dangerously
