MSHOME is not accessible

I am also getting this error message, and I verified that
the firewall is not enabled. What are the other two things
to check from the MS site that the previous questioner
referred to, and are there any other possible explanations?

That error doesn't tell us much except there is a problem with the network.
Make sure all firewalls are disabled and uninstalled. If you installed a
third party firewall, make sure it isn't blocking access between the
machines. Ensure NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled on all computers. If this
doesn't help, please report back and give us the complete error.
