Hi All
Does anyone know if the registry edit described here (
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...read/thread/f8ed9ebb4182059c/7775e878e9f355c9
) should work with Windows 7?
My girlfriend has a new Windows 7 laptop running Office 2007, but at
work she uses Office 2003, so she would like to be able to disable the
"convert chart" dialogue when she's working with Powerpoint 2003
documents.
When I looked in her registry though, the Charting folder was not
visible in the location where I was expecting to find it. It is
present on my laptop, also running Office 2007, but my laptop uses
Windows Vista. Is the Office 2007 registry in Windows 7 structured
differently? Or might the hack work if I create the Charting folder
in the registry on my girlfriends laptop?
Many thanks in advance!
Kevin
