When I try to spellcheck text in Russian I get a message : Can not find file
msgr2RU.dll or msgrRU.dll.
I checked the original CD and it does not contain such a file.
Google did not help either.
Where can I get this file?

You can't spell check in Russian without the Russian proofing tools. If you
have an English version of Word, you will have proofing tools for English,
Spanish, and French only. You can purchase the appropriate Office Proofing
Tools for your version of Word. For example, see

Thank you very much for clear answer.

PS. It would have been better if they had smaller packages (who needs 50
languages?) for a lower price.

I'm not sure they could offer smaller packages at a lower price. They'd have
to figure out how to divide them up, and no matter what selection they made,
people would be dissatisfied if they had to buy more than one. And if they
made a separate package for every language, people who had to buy a lot
would *really* be unhappy. I suspect that the overwhelming majority of need
for Russian proofing tools is satisfied by Russian versions of Word (which
of course include them), and the remainder is too small a market to target.
Sorry.
