msg stuck in outbox

i tried sending an email and i beleive the file was too large. it is stuck in
my outbox and everytime i log in it is trying to send it. i can't delete it
and everytime i try anything it freezes up and doesn't respond. i tried it
offline as well but i still can't delete it then the program will stop
responding again. it is very frustrating. any suggestions?
 
Open WinMail and go to View | Layout and disable the Preview pane. Then go
to the outbox and make sure View | Current View | Show all messages is
checked so you can see the message. Then click on the message and hold down
the Shift key and then use the Delete key and then answer yes or okay to the
prompt. Then walk away from the computer for 30 minutes (or less if its
gone by then) and come back and then it should be gone. With a huge message
it may take some time, but just leave the computer alone and it should
delete it.
