Outlook 2002 and ipaq 2215.

I have noticed 2 or 3 appointments in desktop Outlook 2002 that have a
caution message saying that the appointment conflicts with another
appointment. However, no other appoints are visible that day (no all day
appointments either). If I move the appointment to a different time, the
warning message comes back. If I delete the appointment and reenter it,
the warning messages comes back. I do not see this warning messages on
all appointments.

Any ideas as to why I am having this problem?

Hopefully, future appointments will not have this and it will resolve
itself?

Could this be a corrupt database problem? Would compacting help? Can
invisible appointments exist?

microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync will probably have an answer for you
since it only happens with your iPAQ.

Actually, my original post says the problem is happening on the desktop:
"desktop Outlook 2002." :) It is not really an activesync issue. I do
not see any problems on my pda.

This is very likely due to ActiveSync, as Milly said. That's the only thing
you're syncing to, right? This doesn't happen without some synchronization
somewhere....so best to go to the source.

OK, although I do not see the connection. Unfortunately, my newsprovider
does not carry that group.

No one there knows the answer either. The appt is for the 29th.
Hopefully, when it is over, no more will have conflicts with
non-existing appointments.

Thanks, my nntp source picked it up for me. I wil try posting the
question there (hope they don't tell me to post it here.

For the MS groups, I like to use msnews.microsoft.com - it's available to
any and all and carries all the MS public NGs.
