i am looking for a version of dos, like msdos 6+, to install on a new harddrive as the base operating system, before installing win xp. is there a site i can dl it. also, on most computers, if u hit delete, u enter the bios setup. it dont work on this dell. is there another key dell uses for this?

You'll have to purchase MS-DOS since it cannot be downloaded.
Check www.google.com and perform a search or try eBay.
