Hi

From the command prompt type

d:

You'll need to have a cd in the d drive, otherwise you will get an error
mesage.

MS-DOS does not exist in any version of Windows after ME.

To access your D drive from the command prompt, type D: and press the Enter
key.

there's useless nitpicking and there's useful nitpicking. That was
useless.
who cares when they were developed. Anyhow, he wants "command prompt
commands"

95,98 you can get to DOS with F8.
ME you can't but can use a boot disk
XP - there is no DOS.

However, that's irrelevant.
What original person's subject refers to was probably not meant to be
DOS/ MS-DOS COMMANDS

but something v. similar

COMMAND PROMPT COMMANDS !!

That is the most apt term.

They exist in Win XP as well as 9X/ME. That is obviously what was
meant

if you want to run command prompt to start at d drive then at run prompt
