MSDN Windows Xp Pro Question

Dear All,
Good Morning!
Got an official copy XP Pro from our MSDN subcription in
the network. I got some group policies, and even though, it
could
be a multitude of things, question:
Does an MSDN XP Pro version accepts receiving, or
being part of an update group policy, such as that of
security updates, patches from local SUS server?
