MSDN missing

I am trying to learn VB so I went out and buy a book that
had an editer cd included but when using the wiszard to
create the projects. I am receiving a message indicatin
that I don't have msdn install when ever I would try to
select the data file that I would like to use in the
project. any suggestion would be appreciated at this
point. I am looking for a way to be active will I look
for a new job and learn a new tool. money is low so cost
is very important to me at this time....

If you are referring to the SDK Documentation for .NET, download the .NET
1.1 SDK and it will be installed for you.
Of course, I'm assuming this editor you have links into that documentation.

Don't blame Victor... apparently some geniuses at Microsoft decided to save
a few bucks by distributing the VB.Net Learning Edition without the help
files. After all, why would someone who's learning the language ever need
help? <g>
