Can not remove mscrisp. Even after antispyware finds it
and says that it has been removed it comes back after
each reboot. Does anyone have info on how to stop
mscrisp and remove it completely?

Hi

Maybe if you restart in safe mode, just press F8 during reboot just
before
Windows flag screen appears.

Then choose fullscan with all options checked and kill mscrisp........

Is safe mode you a minimum loaded program and services.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried using safe mode and
MS Antispyware and Spy Sweeper which both say they have
found and removed mscrisp. But once the PC is restarted
both programs find it again however, antispyware does
block it but I would like to KILL it.

Jerry explained on 2005-07-01 :

Then its time for HijackThis and examine your system, perhaps
you can do it yourself ?

HijackThis download:

How to use HijackThis (be careful):

You can also get some "hints" about anything wrong using HijackThis.de
and paste your hijackthislog and analyze it. Note only hints !!!

If you want support choose one of these HijackThis forums and
they help you with this.

Could you please send me the suspected file, Jerry ? First, rename the
file to mscrisp.ixi. Compress it to a .zip file, password protect it,
then email it to me ALONG with the password.
If the suspected file can not be detected, will pass it along to MS.
