can someone help me when i run msconfig i get the message
memory access violation module kernel32 could you please
help me sort this out
 
I read in this news group about some virus that messes with tmsconfig making
it not work. Do a virus scan. May the force be with you

You have probably been infected with the Swen virus, presumably from a
fake email containing an attachment purporting to be a security update
from Microsoft. Get a free removal utility by going to
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/tools.list.html and
clicking on the W32.Swen.A@mm item
