Just recovered fronm a virus. Windows complains that it
cant find dust.exe(the virus file) at user logon.Have
been through MSCONFIG as suggested by several people, but
i cant find a relevant entry any where within MSCONFIG.
Any ideas where else to look.

To my knowledge, there are several ways where the calling
mechanistm for dust.exe could be.
- users startup folder (in start/programs or equivalent)
- all users startup folder
- in run/run once/... and similar in registry.
Caution - direct manipulation of registry is risky, read
(and be sure to understand) relevant topics in Knowledge
Base!

If registry is the place intruder was starded from, you
should open registry editor and ask it to find the
string 'dust.exe'. If it is found you should deal with
it (depending on intruders technique, usually modify or
delete the relevant entry in registry).
