I recently upgraded from ME to 2000, I cannot seem to
access the msconfig option to customize my start up. I
have too many icon in my tray, seems now my computer is
super slow.

MSConfig is not included with Windows 2000. The XP version of msconfig seems
to run okay on Windows 2000.

why would you spend the money on a 2K lisence when you
could get XP for practically the same?

There are other ways to customize your startup.

use the Registry and start menues. manually edit the
startup files.

Because windows 2000 is proven to be the fastest operating windows OS available, especially for gaming.
