msas won't start

When I click on it's icon msas will not start. It will
run it's scheduled scan daily and has found an item but
when I select the view report button it doesn't open.
Anyone else with this problem?

Hi

First some "house cleaning" with CCleaner.

Both for files and issues(registry)

Then repair MSAS, Start > Control panel > Add/remove programs
MSAS > change > OK > update.

It is also a good idea to also use for example Lavasoft Adaware

Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and then
click Update.

Hello Chuck

Then, try these steps:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without
the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

You can go ahead and do these--neither has any downside
risk--and see if that does the job. Let us know whether
it does, or not!
