MSAS: Run as service?

Hi,

I don't currently see any indication that MSAS can run without a user being
logged on to the machine. This is quite a pain, as I'd like to have scans &
such done late at night, when I'm not logged on to my machine.

Are there any plans to move the MSAS scan engine, or any other portion of
the system, into a proper service that would allow such headless operation?
 
Even if they make it a service, you must be logged in in order to scan the
system. The same is true for AV apps.
