msas freezes attempting to open quarantine

Hey all-

I've got an older laptop, MSAS seems to make the thing run
a little slow. Once I attempt to enter the spyware
quarantine page MSAS freezes and I have to shut it down.

Any thoughts on what I need to do to open that page?

One man's freeze is another's glacial slowdown.

This does happen--long pauses--on the order of 1/2 hour to 6 or 8
hours--have been reported in a couple of functions relating to either large
numbers of files, or long text listings, in this product.

My suggestion is to leave it there overnight.
 
Oh--one more bit of advice. If you are, in fact, trying to recover a large
number of files from quarantine: Once you have recovered them--MOVE them
(copy, or whatever) asap to a new location outside the Program Files tree.
Do this before your next reboot. There have been reports of files recovered
from quarantine disappearing on the next reboot.
