Reported it as severe?

C:\program files\windowsupdate\info.txt (file)
C:\program files\windowsupdate (Folder)
Windows update browser plugin

Advised to remove

Surely this in not right?

Scan this file with your antivirusprogram, with latest def.

Open this file with notepad. recognise something ?

Remove it probably.
C:\program files\windowsupdate\info.txt (file)
C:\program files\windowsupdate (Folder)
Windows update browser plugin

This folder was used when Windowsupdate was
at version 4. Now we are at ver 5 and v6 is coming (during
beta test)

You can remove folder and files.

It is right I think.

C:\windows downloaded program files\bridge.inf (file)
Does not exist.
A scan of entire folder (NAV 2005) reveals nothing.

On removal sys restore fails and MSAS locks up.

The files indicated to be in C:\windows\downloaded program
files don't show as such in a search or when looking in
the folder, they are embedded in the corresponding active
X control that is in that folder. Right click on one of
those, click properties, depencies tab, shows the files.
Find the one with bridge.inf. You can double check by
looking on the general tab, at the bottom, it tells you
which URL it is used with.

Sorry, should have added: to delete the activeX component,
right click on it, click remove.
If you remove the wrong one, don't worry, it will get
reinstalled next time you visit the URL from whence it was
downloaded.
