MS04-011 error after installing

After installing 835732 security update, system restarts in chkdsk mode and event viewer presents an error about ntfs partition
If security update 835732 is removed, system works fine

CPU P4, 512 Mb ram, mainboard asus, hdd 80 Gb, S.O Windows 2K Pro Sp4

I have *exactly* the same problem on 5 machines out of 12. This is a
relief to me, since most people have the 100% CPU problem after installing
this update and I was starting to think I was the only one with disk
access errors.

Besides chkdsk, the disk access errors prevent some system components from
being loaded, and so they cause random problems.

I didn't find a solution yet.

Hello @LL,

first, uninstall the patch and then reinstall it in safe-mode (press
<F8> when booting).

Maybe it will work then.

Thanks, but it didn't work in my case. I had the same problem again.
