ms03-039/roaming profiles issue

ever since the ms03-039 patch was installed I am no longer
able to copy roaming profiles to my file server. They are
both windows 2000 SP3. Once I remove the patch it started
working again. Is this a bug with the patch? Is there a
fix for it?

I've written a freeware service that will eliminate error event Userenv/1000
where the text of the message says Windows cannot unload your registry class
and the error is Access is denied.
