So how clever are MS? There is another thread Re: this problem, and have followed the procedure > now I can’t for the life of me work it out, I formatted a PC yesterday installed XP no worries on that score, everything is fine apart from the following> MSN has taken over my home page in I.E. done all the scanning AV CC Etc: any suggestions [no it don’t happen with FF or Opera] don’t tell me not to use I.E.

A fresh install of XP will always set home page to MSN.

Go to internet options and change home page.

Or am I missing something here?

If its the same problem that this thread refers to, then the problem is that it keeps going back to MSN after changing.

Yep It just keeps going onto MS even after doing >Go to internet options and change home page. Have done everything I know of > this also this thread but it still wont save very strange I did 3 PCs yesterday but only this one is acting up

Ok here is what I did or rather had to do to resolve the problem? Partitioned the HDD x 2 > set up XP same disc! Exactly the same set up on the second section and it is fine [pcreview home page] , very strange anyways found out that MS are having problems with IE. I will tell you more on IE Monday.

Nope tried that still no joy it just won`t let me. Never mind I will get it to work one day and a post will be posted How come in one partition it works, in the other no work?
Exactly the same settings/disc setup? no virus/no spyware no nothing............

It was Ummmmm..... Zone alarm emailed them and> a new patch out today sorted
So if you use ZA update it now.
