many thanks for feedback - I was wondering if a colleague in another firm
could use a file with VB code and it seems not. Trust Microsoft to remove
the good bits when selling Works!
I don't think it's a case of "Microsoft removing the good bits when selling
Works". It's a long time since I've used Microsoft Works and it was the DOS
version. At the time it was a superb product giving Windows type
capabilities to a low spec home use PC running under DOS. Obviously it has
evolved since I used it and is perhaps more aligned to its more
sophisticated siblings. I think you just have to accept that Microsoft
creates products for different markets ... you pay your money and you make
your choice.
