MS Word

I just got my computer back from being repaired. The guy upgraded my XP and
now all my MS Word documents only open in a notepad. When I try to access MS
Word, I get the message, "MS Word hs not been installed for the current user.
Please run setup to install the application." When I try to run the OS
software that came with my computer, I get the message that it is not the
same version as what has been installed and asks if I want to revert to the
old version? I have not done this as I don't know what it will do to my
system. How do I get Word to work again?

MS word is not part of the operating system (OS), you should have a
seperate MS Word, or MS Office, or MS Works disk that has Word on it.
