I use MS Word to save both western and cyrillic characters and I must save the text in "Plain Text" -form. When I do it the first time, everything goes fine.
Then if I re-open the file (file.txt) using "Open with" and put in any changes (making sure that I use the proper input locales to type western and cyrillic text), the second time I save the file corrupts it.
This corruption is not visible at saving time, because everything seems to go OK, but if I open the modified file, the cyrillic text has changed into something that looks like it is being interpreted to be western characters.
MS Word should ask what the encoding is, when I try to open the file.
Anybody have a clue as to why this happens ?
