MS word appears for one user, not another

Hi, I'm an XP rookie--especially with the multiple users. I have MS word on
this PC, but my wife can't see any icons to open it. I can see icons,
however. How do I fix this?

Also, for some reason, my internet connection is offline under my user name,
but not my wife's. How do I re-connect?

For the first problem, you can easily put icons for Word on your wife's
Start Menu. Right-click on the Start button and choose "Explore All
Users". This will give you a double-paned Explorer window and you'll
see the Start Menus for all the users on the system, including All
Users. You can right-click, drag and copy any icons from your Menu to
your wife's Menu.

For the second problem, you'll need to provide more detail. How do you
connect to the Internet?
