MS Word 2003 Tables

I have a small table to be used in numerous SOP documents. Installing the
table is the easy part. I want users that have little or no experience with
word to have the ability to add rows with the table formatting intact. The
table is two rows with the middle line the color of white to hide the break.
The top row needs to be bold and the bottom row regular. I tried AutoCorrect
but that only works on my machine. The folks that will be updating the SOPs
do not have the skills required to add the rows that may be needed. I need
some assistance, please.
 
I am not quite sure what you are asking. If the question is did I format an
appropriate table, the answer is yes. I created a two row table with the
middle line white to hide the line. The table looks normal.
Top Row (Bold) - Insert Term
Bottom Row (Regular) Provide Definition

Some SOPs will have two or three terms and some could have 15. I set the
heading to continous. Management does not want several blank rows. I want to
insert two sets and let the user add others as needed. The users are not
skilled.

Hi Writerman,

If your table has a heading row and a data row, then adding more another formatted data row is as simple as going to the end of the
last cell on the last row and pressing the TAB key.
 
In a table style, you can define formatting for heading rows, other rows,
various columns, the last row, etc. You can have alternate bands of shading.
You can define borders, etc.
