MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer For Bluetooth

I'm looking at this new mouse...

I just ordered a new laptop with Bluetooth built in and am wondering
if I still need to use thier included USB Bluetooth Adapter. Will my
laptop just be able to find the mouse or is the USB adapter required?

BTW - My laptop is a Dell with thier "Dell™ TrueMobile™ 300 Bluetooth
Internal Card" built in.
