MS Windows 2000 AS as PDC in MS Windows NT domain ??

Hi all

I have a problem, I want to install a new server with MS Windows 2000
AS and the role of this server must be the PDC, is that possible ??

The only way I know is to upgrade the current PDC to W2K.
Then install the new server and promote it to a DC.
Then transfer all the FSMO roles to the new server.

You could remove Win 2k from the new server, install NT 4.0 on it as a BDC
while connected to your existing network, promote to PDC then upgrade to Win
2k and AD.
