MS Volume Licencing Vista without .net 3

My Vista is missing .net 3 and the .net 3 download will not install on
Vista.

Anyone else came across this problem ?

Do I need to redownload and install a new copy Vista ?

Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features >
Turn Windows features on or off > Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0

All copies of Vista include the .NET 3 framework. Look in
%windir%\microsoft.net\framework and you should see the folders there for
it.
