I recently upgraded my xp home to Pro and am trying to learn PP. Last night while playing around with sound an opportunity to download msproducer2.exec came up...I spent 5 hrs completing a successful download and install. I saved it into my docs...today when I go to my docs and click on the icon for it, it sends me back through the process of repair/reinstall (which only takes a couple of minutes), so I do it and when I try to pull it up to see what it's all about it sends me back through the same process...what am I doing wrong?

Sounds to me as if you've already installed it. Go to Start/Programs and see
if Producer is listed anywhere in your programs. I think you're trying to
reinstall the installation, and that's confusing Producer -- it's trying to
do a repair, since it's already actually installed. Make sense?
